Kinetic Catamarans Build Update | 05

It’s currently an extremely exciting time at Kinetic – with work reaching a frenzy as we are counting down to the launch of 5401.

The interior of 5401 has been sprayed and all furniture and systems are going in with a planned completion at the end of May. Next up will be spraying the exterior – most of the areas for deck fitting have been finished but the hulls and bridge-deck still requires a fair amount of work before we topcoat her.

The mast and rigging is in the yard and all is set to step the mast early June in our commissioning bay, here at the yard.

Launch is estimated to be second week of June.

5402 is coming along nicely and we anticipate having primary assembly completed by early May.

She is also an owners version, and is highly customized with a new interior and aft cockpit layout. She will have a large 4 stack sliding door into the aft cockpit, opening up the living space and creating an incredible flow between living spaces.

We have started fairing the interior and will start furniture construction shortly.
