Farewell 2020

What a year 2020 has been. We’ve all had to face our own set of challenges and adapt to a new normal, and couldn’t be more proud of our team for their perseverance and dedication during this time. We’ve even added some key new members this year, adding their fresh perspectives and extensive knowledge to our service offering.

Even with the challenges that 2020 brought, we found ourselves spending valuable time reflecting and improving in all areas, and made notable design and functional enhancements to our cats.

Perhaps most important is the evolution of the KC54, our newest model and one which we are very excited to launch in the new year. With 5402 hot on her heels. We’re looking forward to showcasing the KC54 at Annapolis in 2021 and Europe in 2022.

The addition of the drop down swim platform to both models is a huge leisure value add. A compliment to the indoor/outdoor flow of our boats, with little sacrifice on weight and performance. Our aft helm station options, featuring both wheel and tiller arms, is another notable enhancement that we’re excited about.

As we wrap up this year we also look forward to new developments in 2021. Starting with 6201 spending some time in New Zealand and at the Americas Cup, cruising and potentially getting involved in some local racing in the area as well as hopefully in Australia. We also welcome Scott Dickson onboard as the skipper during her time there.

We’d like to thank you all for your support this year; from the emails and messages to the follows and shares, and all the relationships we’ve loved creating. May the festive season be the brightest and most merry yet.

Happy holidays from the Kinetic Catamarans Family.
